Frankincense, Myrrh and Fool's Gold

I played the part of the Bishop (top) and a jester (bottom) in the Christmas production of "Frankincense, Myrrh and Fool's Gold" (Lampost 2005).

Fools Bash 2007

Create a Creature (top) and Box Skits (bottom) at the annual "Fools Bash". "We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored!" (1 Corinthians 4:10) (Lampost 2007).

Lampost Prom

We made this portable dance floor with plywood and tile for the Lampost Prom. We also used it for swing dancing nights (Lampost 2007).

Messy Games Night

Leftover Twister, Whipped Cream Hairdos and Watermelon Football where three favorites of Messy Games Night. Only Christ can clean up a mess like this: "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." (Isaiah 1:18) (Foundation 2004)

Random Acts of Kindness

I did many things with our Random Acts of Kindness team throughout the year. Above some students are putting Bible verses and candy in Easter eggs to distribute around campus and below are a few of the girls who helped make valentines cookies to hand out (Foundation 2004-2005).

Bald with Photoshop

Just a little photoshop to show what we would look like bald. And I had a lot of hair back then. I don't remember what this was for. I think it was for an announcement slide show (Foundation 2005).

Rained In

What do you do when the canoe trip gets rained out when your already an hour away from home? Go ice skating (2005).

Bigger or Better

The classic bigger or better game. At the Wesley Foundation in 2004 our winning team brought back a trampoline and set it up in the student ministries building.

The Oddfather

At the Wesley Foundation I created a scavenger hunt called "The Oddfather." Each time the teams completed an assignment, they had to call me, the Oddfather, to get a new crazy task. It was just a fun way for new students to get to know eachother (2004).

The Iced Hotts

My freshman year at Iowa State (2001) our dorm performed an original musical about a French-Canadian boy band in the university's variety show. As the nerd who was trained to act more hip (far right), I won awards for "Best Supporting Actor" and "Best Line".
